The Opportunity
Are you an aspiring business or financial professional who wants to see how multi-million dollar deals are structured, won, and launched? We are looking for a Junior Associate (Intern) to join our Business Development team. This isn't a "coffee-run" internship. You will be in the engine room of our firm, standing at the intersection of Federal Procurement and Fortune 500 Strategy.
You will receive training on the Shipley Proposal Method, learn about high-stakes "Red Team" reviews, and understand how we transform complex technical jargon into winning executive narratives. For the right candidate, this is a direct pipeline to a Full-Time Consultant or Analyst role.
Your Mission (KPI-Driven)
You will be trained on the same standards as our world-class consulting team:
Market Intelligence: Identification of 5+ high-value $2M+ opportunities per quarter.
Strategic Writing: Achieving a 9/10 "Impact Score" on technical proposal narratives.
Operational Excellence: 100% compliance on Federal RFP administrative requirements.
Capture Management: Mapping 100% of the Decision-Making Unit for target accounts.
What You Will Learn
The "Black Hat" Strategy: Research competitors to identify their weaknesses and position our firm as the superior choice.
Technical Writing: Learn to write white papers, RFQs and RFIs that influence government documents.
Pipeline Navigation: Learn the "Gate Review" process to decide which deals we chase and which we ignore.
The Compliance Matrix: Learn how to decipher legal and technical requirement of RFPs with surgical precision.
Artificial Intelligence: Learn to prompt and create using the most modern version of Google's AI platform, Gemini.
The High-Performance Track (SOPs You Will Master)
During this internship, you will be forged into a leader using industry-standard frameworks:
Phase 1 (The Architect): Mastering the federal/private procurement lifecycle.
Phase 2 (The Diplomat): Negotiating Teaming Agreements with partners.
Phase 3 (The Closer): Driving the final "Gold Team" submission and post-award transition.

Time Requirement
Interns must be able to dedicate a minimum of 10 hours per week to this professional development opportunity. This is a fixed-term position, which can be extended each quarter based on your discretion.
Minimum requirements include the following:
Must have a confirmed major.
Must have five (5) professional referrals.
Must have a burning desire to be excellent in this line of work.
Must have a plan to achieve that desire.
Important Notice: Please note that as per the Federal Labor Standards Act, unpaid interns may work a maximum of 25 hours per week.
