Are you looking for an internship opportunity that puts you on the fast-track to growth in the advisory industry? This could be the opportunity you've been looking for.
The Opportunity
Are you an aspiring financial management advisor who wants to identify and facilitate multi-million dollar mergers and acquisitions? We are looking for a Junior Associate (Intern) to join our Capital Division. This isn't a "data-entry" internship. You will be in the engine room of our firm, standing at the intersection of Market Intelligence and Operational Profitability.
As a Junior Analyst, you will leverage advanced financial software and technology alongside proprietary advisory frameworks to learn how high-performing teams identify and facility multi-million dollar deals. You will receive training on the Marq Neasman proprietary frameworks to audit the Personnel, Processes, Products, and Profitability of target companies. You will learn to look past the surface of a balance sheet to identify the "Value Gaps" that others miss. For the right candidate, this is a direct pipeline to a Full-Time Analyst or Associate Advisor role within our Capital Advisory team.
Your Mission (KPI-Driven)
Target Identification: Discover how to identify 3+ high-potential companies for acquisition or advisory partnership.
Technical Deep-Dive: Learn how to complete "4P" Audits (Personnel, Process, Product, Profitability) with surgical accuracy.
Economic Modeling: Understand the frameworks for developing profitability forecasts with a minimum 90% confidence interval.
Synthesis Excellence: Learn how our team achieves a 9/10 "Insight Score" on executive summaries for the Capital Division partners.
What You Will Do
The 4P Audit: Learn how to apply technical analysis to understand the core pillars of a business:
Personnel: Evaluating the strength of their leadership
Processes: The efficiency of their workflows
Products: The viability of their offerings
Profitability: The health of their margins
Competitive Reconnaissance: Discover how to benchmark target companies against industry leaders to uncover opportunities for 30-60% increases in income and impact.
Advanced Financial Technology Infrastructure: Utilize advanced Google Sheets for financial modeling, Looker Studio for executive data visualization, and Google Slides/Docs to construct presentation briefs for the C-suite.
Risk Mitigation: Learn how to identify operational "red flags" and potential silos that stifle collaboration and profitability.
Executive Intelligence: Learn how to craft "Buy/No-Buy" or "Partner/Pass" recommendations for the Senior Advisory Board.
The Reward: Incentives for Excellence
Placement Bonus: A percentage-based "Placement Bonus" for any company identified by you that signs a contract or acquisition agreement.
Performance Stipend: Earn a fixed "Performance Stipend" for every completed, high-quality 4P Audit accepted by the partners.
Mentorship: Direct reporting line to Senior Partners in the Capital Division.
Professional Certification: Through our partnership with LinkedIn and Quickbooks, you will have access to fully sponsored certifications of your choice at zero cost to you.
